     Dr. Melissa Tait, DPT, is the Founder and Lead Physical Therapist of Mobility and Movement, LLC. Backed by a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and a powerful 21-year career in rehabilitation, she has created a practice built on academic rigor and clinical excellence. Melissa is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care focused on unlocking mobility, restoring function, and empowering patients to live actively.

     With 13 years as a Licensed Physical Therapist, she has managed an exceptionally diverse caseload, ranging from specialized neurological care (MS, Parkinson’s, and Stroke recovery) to pediatric gait abnormalities and complex post-operative cases. Certified in advanced manual techniques like RockTape’s Rock Blade, Melissa bridges the gap in comprehensive care—often providing specialized wrist and hand therapy alongside traditional physical therapy.  Her background as a Clinic Director and Safety Officer ensures that your care is not only effective but held to the highest standards of clinical excellence.
